NHL Playoffs Return To San Jose
The San Jose Sharks return to the tank tonight to host their first Stanley Cup playoff game in nearly two years.
They split the first two games against the Predators in Nashville over the weekend.
Merchants at San Jose's San Pedro Square near HP Pavilion have decorated the street with lights and jerseys of the Sharks' players. The team's 3-0 shutout spread victory on Sunday gives them the momentum in the series now that they're back home with their faithful fans behind them.
Mark Smith, Sharks center: "That's the key for us, to split first. And now we have the ice advantage here at home at the tank -- great place to play, great fans, and just kind of ride on their energy."
The game time Tuesday night is 7:30 p.m
The Santa Clara Valley Tranportation Authority is offering free rides on its Sharks shuttle for fans. It begins one-hour-and-fifteen-minutes before game time.
Buses run every five minutes and make their last trips 30-minutes after the game ends.
